The company

Thoughtful software. Visible work.

Founded in September 2026, elori is a 10-person startup team building thoughtful software for everyday work. Its current product is Boring, a native macOS workspace for music, files, and focus.

Make the everyday
work a little better.

Our product direction starts here: useful tools, considered interactions, and a clear understanding of what ships today.

A ten-person startup team

Founded in September 2026, elori is a ten-person startup founded by Vedanth Jadhav. We are building Boring around the everyday moments that sit between larger tasks: a song change, a file to share, a focus session to begin.

Our current product is a native macOS utility. Our team offering begins with product evaluation and a conversation about real requirements. We publish the current capabilities and explain what is still being developed.

Useful by default

We start with the small tasks people repeat every day. A control within reach, a file ready to share, a timer that stays visible. Each feature should earn its place.

A focused, ten-person team

elori was founded in September 2026. Ten people work together on product, engineering, design, and customer feedback, with Boring as the team’s current product.

Built for the platform

Boring is built in Swift and SwiftUI for macOS. The product fits into the desktop you already use, with familiar controls and a compact interface.

Open about the work

Our product source, release notes, and upstream credits are public. You can inspect the implementation, follow changes, and raise an issue directly.

Built with open-source foundations

Boring Notch Octave is elori’s independently maintained fork of TheBoredTeam’s Boring Notch. TheBoredTeam created the original project; this version retains its GPL-3.0 license and required notices.

Our additions include the Octave bridge in Brave, enhanced karaoke lyrics, Shelf tools, focus sessions, Codex usage, and changes to the notch experience. The source repository documents these contributions and the release process.
