01Who and what these terms cover
These terms apply to elori.me, its product pages and documentation, and information elori publishes about Boring Notch Octave. They describe the current offering. They do not create an enterprise contract, support commitment, or purchase obligation.
Boring Notch Octave is free and open source. The software’s GPL-3.0 license and included third-party notices govern copying, modification, redistribution, and other rights in the software. That license applies alongside these terms; these website terms do not take away rights it grants.
02Current availability and prices
The current release is available through the public GitHub repository and its releases. Access to the website or download does not promise that every integration works with every Mac, macOS version, browser, account, or organization policy.
Pro at $9 one time and the Team plan are proposed examples only. They are not offers for sale. There is no elori checkout, credit balance, paid subscription, automatic renewal, or billing through this website. A future paid offer will show its features, price, billing schedule, cancellation and refund terms before you agree to buy it.
03Using the website and application
Use the website lawfully and do not interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access to its systems, or submit harmful code or another person’s confidential information.
The Boring app runs on your Mac. You are responsible for reviewing requested macOS permissions, the file actions you choose, browser extensions and bridges you install, and any account connections or optional API keys you configure. Back up important files and follow your organization’s software policies before installing apps on its devices.
04External services and third-party work
GitHub, Brave, Octave, ChatGPT, OpenAI model-pricing data, MusicBrainz, Spicy Lyrics, Vercel, and PostHog operate under their own terms. elori does not control their availability, accounts, content, security practices, or changes.
Boring Notch Octave is an independently maintained fork of TheBoredTeam’s Boring Notch. elori’s enhancements do not make elori the original upstream author, an official upstream partner, or an official representative of any third-party service. The marks elori™ and Boring Notch Octave™ identify elori’s company and its maintained software; the ™ symbol does not claim that either mark is registered. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. The applicable open-source license and attribution notices remain in the source repository and distributed software.
05No warranties or professional advice
The website, documentation, and software are provided under the applicable open-source license and, to the extent allowed by law, without additional promises that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, fit for a particular workplace, or compatible with every third-party service.
Product pages describe general software capabilities, not legal, investment, medical, or employment advice. A team enquiry or discussion does not create an implementation, support, privacy, security, or service-level agreement. Any future service arrangement needs its own written terms.
06Liability and applicable rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit. Subject to that rule and to the software’s applicable license, elori is not responsible for indirect losses caused by relying on general website information or third-party services outside elori’s control.
These terms do not remove consumer protections that apply where you live. If a provision cannot be enforced there, the remaining terms continue to apply as far as permitted.
07Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the website or product changes. The date at the top shows the latest posted revision. Continued use after an update means these terms apply to future use to the extent allowed by law.
